About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to return to work following a workplace injury or illness.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a specialised caseload of clients, providing expert support and guidance to ensure a successful return to work
  • Work with clients who have complex psychological diagnoses, using your skills and knowledge to support their recovery and return to work
  • Conduct a range of assessments and services to support clients in their recovery and return to work, including injury prevention, management, and return to work services
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, employers, insurers, and treating health practitioners, to facilitate a safe and sustainable return to work for clients
  • Provide psychoeducation and training to clients and employers using our award-winning biopsychosocial health coaching tool, PositivumTM and healthy mind training packages
  • Collaborate with our Access Psych team to provide clinical services and support clients in their recovery and return to work

Your Qualifications and Skills



  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling, with relevant registration and accreditation
  • Strong passion for improving lives through work and health
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
