Support Animals Specialist

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team in a dynamic environment where you will work as an Animal Studies Support Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exercise, fun, and training for dogs in our care
  • Overseeing student work experience and providing guidance on dog care procedures
  • Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of the dog day care yard and facilities
  • Undertaking record keeping tasks and providing clients with information about their pets

You will work outdoors in all kinds of weather, embodying the CIT cultural traits: Customer Centric, Professionalism, Collaborative, Trusted, Adaptable, Accountable, and Inspirational.

This is a casual position, ranging from 3 to 15 hours per week, with a pro-rata payment based on full-time salary. It's preferable that you have experience working with dogs in an animal care setting or hold relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Animal Care or Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with animals and want to gain valuable experience in animal studies.
