The Opportunity

Experience High-Value Clinical Work in a Genuine Outback Lifestyle

You will provide vital GP services alongside VMO duties at the Bourke Multipurpose Service (MPS), located next door. This integrated setup allows seamless movement between clinic and hospital, supported by experienced nurses and collaborative hospital teams.

We are seeking a Vocationally Registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) with recent emergency or VMO experience to join our team. You will enjoy extended breaks while still making a meaningful impact in rural healthcare.

Packages Available:
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, earning up to $332,500 p.a.
  • 3 weeks on / 1 week off, earning up to $498,750 p.a.

Both packages include:

  • Daily GP billings of $2,100
  • $2,000 per on-call day
  • Housing, car, and flights

In addition to these benefits, you will also receive:

  • Moratorium reduction: MM7 (RA5 scaling) – reduces moratorium to 5–6 years
  • Lifestyle balance: Regular extended leave blocks built into the roster
  • Relocation & support: Fully furnished housing, vehicle, flights, and onboarding assistance
