Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Intake & Brief Intervention Clinician to join our team at headspace Malvern. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing intake, assessment and intervention services to young people aged 12-25 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality intake, assessment and intervention services to young people, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible support.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs that enhance our services and improve client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in mental health, social work, psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working in youth mental health, community health or similar settings (minimum two years).
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in Single Session and Brief Intervention approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
