Job Description

The Site Veterinarian is responsible for the provision of site veterinary services, ensuring veterinary care and compliance with welfare programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement veterinary services including animal health monitoring programs, veterinary care, emergency treatments, animal evaluations, and appropriate disposition activities.">
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement animal care programs including breeding, husbandry, socialization, rehoming and animal socialization and training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and business needs.">
  • Ensure studies are executed in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations, decisions of the AEC and Yarrandoo SOP's.">
  • Carry out duties while ensuring compliance with local and global Animal Welfare regulations, Standard operating procedures, Quality compliance and study protocols.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

Rlevant Veterinary experience in clinical practice and/or research environments, currently registered, or eligible to be registered, as a veterinary practitioner in NSW. 3+ years' clinical experience with strong field and laboratory clinical skills across both companion and livestock species.

Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring and/or training role. Familiarity with working within a research setting.
