Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer with experience in diverse multi-disciplinary projects, including battery minerals and plant optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience as an engineer in Australia.
  • Proven expertise in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing technical drawings and supporting construction and commissioning.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation such as reports, design specifications, detailed designs, and work scopes.
  • Experience in site investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards.
  • Expertise in designing electrical systems for hazardous areas.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with heavy industry clients in minerals processing.
  • Registered or Chartered Engineer status, RPEQ preferred.
  • Knowledge of control systems design principles.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary consultancy environments.
  • Familiarity with process and machine safety protocols.
  • Project management skills for delivering results-oriented outcomes.
