Job Overview

The primary purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment as part of its operations. Local and linehaul opportunities are available in a new and modern fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate vehicles
  • Conduct pre and post work vehicle checks
  • Report any defects in a timely manner
  • Complete all necessary documentation
  • Follow appropriate work instructions and company procedures
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of deficiencies in product delivery
  • Undertake supervision work when directed
  • Take care of vehicles/plant under your care
  • Comply with relevant legislation and standards
Requirements
  • Hold a Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's licence
  • Road DG licence – Highly regarded
  • High Risk Forklift ticket - Highly regarded
  • Crane Operator – Highly regarded
  • Appropriate licence class for other vehicles operated
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards

This role involves efficient operation of vehicles, conducting pre and post work checks, reporting defects in a timely manner, completing necessary documentation, following company procedures, preventing deficiencies in product delivery, undertaking supervision work, taking care of vehicles/plant, and complying with relevant legislation and standards.
