About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our Mercedes-Benz Service Team in Warwick Farm. As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics on all vehicles across the Mercedes-Benz Car and Van ranges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics on all vehicles across the Mercedes-Benz Car and Van ranges
  • Liaise with the Mercedes-Benz Australia technical department for support on technical issues
  • Identify and repair technical issues
  • Complete all work as per Manufacturer Repair Times Guide and Peter Warren Retail standards
  • Road test vehicles
  • Conduct quality checks on all work to ensure vehicles are Fixed First Visit
  • Complete Mercedes-Benz trainings as required
  • Guide and mentor workshop staff

Requirements

  • Experience with the brand is a bonus but not essential
  • A current driver's licence
  • Certification as a qualified technician
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the brand
  • Ability to handle a busy service centre
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • At least 5 years' experience as a technician
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
