Delicatessen Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of our in-store team, working alongside colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.

About the Role:

Key responsibilities include safely preparing and serving meat, seafood, and cheese products, operating deli equipment, and maintaining a clean workspace.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a dynamic team. They will possess excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable about products, and have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences with a positive attitude and energy
  • Knowledgeable about products to provide expert advice and support to customers
  • Active and physically fit, with ability to work on feet for long periods and perform lifting and reaching tasks
  • Flexible availability to work across store trading days, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Handling meats and seafoods (including cooked and raw) and cleaning preparation areas
