We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Board, committed to upholding our values and mission.
Mission and Vision:
Our organization is a leading independent environmental campaigning entity. We use non-violent direct action and creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems and promote solutions for a sustainable future.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure our mission remains clear and relevant.
- Provide strategic guidance on setting the organization's direction.
- Monitor programs and activities to ensure alignment with our mission.
- Ensure executive performance by setting objectives and reviewing their performance.
- Obtain and utilize resources required to carry out our mission.
- Be satisfied with financial and other reporting to the Board.
- Comply with relevant governance standards.
Requirements:
- Strategic leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
- Commitment to our mission, goals, and values.
- Particular skills or experience in corporate governance, environmental campaigning, fundraising, finance, research, and/or scientific literacy.
