About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) team in Bendigo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport.
You will work closely with our clinical team to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure the safe transportation of patients to their destinations.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. You will be required to hold a FULL Victorian Drivers license and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
In addition to your clinical skills and experience, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or other equivalent qualification for Ambulance Officers recognized by RFDS or DHHS.
- Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment.
- A minimum of 400 hours operational stretcher experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (for Registered Nurses).
- A FULL Victorian Drivers license and the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
