At Downer, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including leading and managing compliance, complaints handling, and auditing processes.

  • Job Description:
  • We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and quality assurance across the housing contract.
  • This role requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • You will play a key role in driving business excellence by leading and managing compliance, complaints handling, and auditing processes.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage compliance, complaints handling, and auditing processes
  • Develop and implement internal and external audit programs to assess and improve procedural adherence
  • Collaborate with Quality & Compliance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and deliver detailed client reports, including monthly summaries and performance analysis
  • Support the development and maintenance of key contract plans and OHS&E systems
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in a building-related, OH&S, or quality-related discipline, with relevant certifications
  • Proven experience in quality management systems and compliance auditing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and contractual documents and manage reporting requirements
