Lead General Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to take on a leadership role as our practice's Lead GP. As the successful candidate, you will maintain your own patient load while providing clinical guidance and leadership to our doctors.

  • Clinical Leadership
  • Mentorship and supervision of registrars, interns, and medical students
  • Driving accreditation and quality improvement processes
  • Recruitment and orientation of new clinical staff
  • External Relationships

The Lead GP will provide strong clinical governance to ensure a high standard of medical care is maintained.

You will also provide mentoring, education, and support to the medical workforce, and provide much-needed appointments to the community by stepping into a busy and fully booked GP clinic.

Requirements

  • Fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM, or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • A minimum of five years' experience in general practice
  • Experience leading a clinical team is highly desirable
  • Accreditation as a GP Registrar Supervisor
  • Ability to work in Australia
