Financial Reporting Specialist

At Spotlight Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the external audit process
  • Manage financial reporting and compliance for our international operations
  • Prepare IFRS 16 lease accounting calculations
  • Support the month end financial close process, including preparing journals and performing reconciliations
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results

Requirements:

  • Must be CA qualified with at least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Ideally with a Big-4 or Mid-Tier Audit environment background
  • Strong financial accounting knowledge, including month-end close and AASP16
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for retail
