Braemar College is an independent, co-educational school catering to students in Years 5 to 12.

The school has two campuses located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

As a dedicated educator, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique educational setting and teach passionate students.

The position is full-time, commencing soon. Part-time options and graduate applications will also be considered.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about Digital Technologies and current pedagogical thinking.

They will:

  • Have a strong enthusiasm for education, focusing on developing skills and knowledge in young people.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Design and Digital Technologies curriculum through to VCE.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences combining theory and practice for concepts including robotics, drones, coding, and emerging technologies.
  • Create a classroom environment that fosters innovative design thinking and real-world problem-solving, encouraging creativity and innovation.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff members.
  • Contribute to the wellbeing of students.
  • Be open to teaching in flexible learning spaces, including new purpose-built facilities.
  • Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
  • Hold a tertiary teaching qualification enabling them to teach Technologies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and a positive learning disposition.
  • Be a registered teacher with VIT; graduates are welcome to apply.
