Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GIS and Asset Data Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Assets team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) and contributing to the development and maintenance of Asset Management Information Systems.

You will have the opportunity to work with our multidisciplined teams to provide specialist advice to external and internal stakeholders using Council's GIS and ICT technologies. You will also contribute to the implementation of best practice asset management systems and utilise geospatial technologies and analytical techniques to support various departments and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and maintain the City's Geographic Information System (GIS)
  • Develop and implement Asset Management Information Systems with a focus on infrastructure
  • Collaborate with multidisciplined teams to provide specialist advice to external and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the implementation of best practice asset management systems
