Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Investment Trader to join our team. As an Investment Trader, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of Equity and FX trades under the supervision of a senior trader. This role involves working to support the effective execution of our investment strategy and continually refining trading systems and workflows across the globe.

This is an entry-level position with 1-3 years of trading experience required. You will be responsible for executing and managing low-touch Equity and FX orders across the Asia Pacific region.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating execution performance across multiple dimensions using in-house and third-party transaction cost analysis tools. Additionally, you will gain an understanding of the execution algorithms, order and execution management systems utilized globally.

Your responsibilities will include managing real-time trade reporting, matching, and settlement. You will also liaison with Portfolio Management, Research, and operations in the region and across the globe.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a quantitative-related field
  • 2+ years of financial services experience with at least 1 year of equity trading experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate and prioritize in a fast-moving & demanding environment and deal with complex situations
  • Completed applicable trading exams and currently holds required certifications/licensures for trading
  • Basic knowledge of execution analytics, trading strategies, and risk management techniques
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and large data sets
  • Experience with various trading technology tools including OMS (Charles River a plus), EMS & Trade Cost Analysis tools
