Executive Officer Role

The Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Officer to support the Service Director and NBCMHS Executive Team.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position with the following details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the achievement of corporate and clinical governance systems, establishing a positive health and safety culture in the workplace.
  • Consult with workers on decisions impacting health, safety, and welfare.
  • To lead administration processes, workloads, learning, and development of administrative staff, including conflict resolution and team building.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in high-level administrative tasks at an Executive level, with proven ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability in interpersonal, written, and electronic communication skills, including superior formal written expression skills and Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Experience in providing professional and administrative leadership, as well as leadership skills in conflict resolution and team building.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position within the Service, requiring a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing administrative staff, providing strategic advice to the Service Director, and contributing to the development of corporate governance systems.
