Project Overview

This exciting project marks the beginning of a transformative initiative within the Northern suburbs. Our objective is to create a sustainable and future-proof supply and distribution network within the freight corridor that will shape the nation's infrastructure for years to come.

To be successful in this key role, you must have proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer in the civil engineering sector, with a strong emphasis on earthworks, rock removal, drainage, and the construction of new road pavements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and execute earthwork operations, including grading, excavation, and compaction, as well as the removal of rock formations.
  2. Manage project costs to defined budgets and forecast works.
  3. Design and construct drainage systems, ensuring proper water management and compliance with industry standards.
  4. Construct new road pavements, including pavement design, materials selection, and quality control.

In addition to your technical skills, you'll need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset is also essential, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement in the civil engineering domain.
