We're excited to welcome an Advanced Practice Nurse to our Ophthalmology Outpatient Service.

This is a specialist role that requires advanced nursing skills and leadership abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering person-centred nursing care at an advanced level, practicing autonomously and providing clinical oversight and direction for all staff and multidisciplinary teams within the service.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Practising according to professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of the position.
  • Providing clinical oversight and direction for all staff and MDT within the Ophthalmology Outpatient Service.
  • Fulfilling role responsibilities in accordance with organisational values.
  • Supporting quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety, and ethical behaviour.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 56 hours per fortnight. Remuneration is up to $97,606 per annum, comprising a salary between $107,960 and $115,604 per annum (full-time), or hourly rates of $54.44 to $58.30. This includes employer superannuation contributions (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%).
