Production Assembler

The role of a Production Assembler is crucial in ensuring the assembly and installation of tray bodies, accessories, and components onto 4WD vehicles meet company specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install 4WD trays, canopies, toolboxes, and related components using appropriate tools, techniques, and equipment.
  • Clean, sand, mask, and sandblast surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of the powder coating.
  • Safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery, and report any faults or maintenance issues as needed.
  • Work safely at all times, uphold WHS standards, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace with consideration for the safety of others and yourself.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools, with the ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
