About the Role:This key position within our Student Systems team focuses on delivering strategic improvement projects, with a strong emphasis on technical systems expertise.
- Maintain expert knowledge across student systems and supporting infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Analyse requirements, determine configuration changes, and manage the testing and implementation of major system upgrades to enhance user experience.
- Support day-to-day operations by enabling front-line student systems support, overseeing incident tracking, workload monitoring, and issue resolution to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of data elements, student systems, supporting platforms, and business processes to drive informed decision-making.
- Consult on and implement system changes in response to complex scenarios, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment to ensure optimal system performance.
- Conduct research and identify opportunities for system enhancements, including configuration, reports, forms, and correspondence to improve overall efficiency.
- Provide training and mentoring for other members of the Systems Support team to foster growth and development.
- Contribute to the leadership of the Systems Support team to drive strategic objectives and continuous improvement.
- Strong fluency in technology platforms and a deep understanding of contemporary IT protocols and operating environments.
- Experience leading a team, including influencing without authority, developing people, and shaping team cultures.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex issues effectively.
- High level oral and written communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive results.
- Effective organisation, planning, and coordination skills to manage multiple priorities across systems, budget, people, reporting, project, and strategic objectives.
