Senior Automotive Electrician

Our organisation is seeking an experienced senior automotive electrician to oversee installations within our Specialised Projects Production Team. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or engineering, and at least 6 years of related experience.

Key responsibilities include coordinating auto electrical assembly and installation, working closely with the team leader and production team to plan installations. Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles, including harnesses, light bars, message boards, sirens, antennas, speaker units, and programming OEM computer systems.

Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components, using test equipment to locate malfunctions, and teaching other tradesmen and apprentices.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive work environment with a good culture, reasonable working hours, job security, and varied projects.
