Your New Role

">

As a Senior Project Development Manager, you will take a lead role on projects and work closely with the Directors and wider team. You will initially focus on Data Centre projects but have opportunities to work across various sectors, enabling you to develop your overall skills and experience while providing variety in your day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, coordinating efforts to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, developing and implementing risk management plans to minimize potential impacts.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track costs, and make informed financial decisions to optimize project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate testing and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Closeout Activities: Lead project closeout activities, including finalizing deliverables, conducting project evaluations, and documenting results.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to project team members, ensuring they have necessary skills and resources to complete tasks.

Requirements

">
  • A degree in a relevant field such as project management, engineering, or construction management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, ideally working on Data Centre projects, but Life Sciences/Pharma experience is also considered.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams, delegate tasks, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local construction industry and a strong understanding of the Victorian Building Codes.
