High Performance Software Engineer

The role of the Lead C++ Software Engineer is to oversee the development of cutting-edge trading technology for a global software development company. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of experienced developers from around the world on core technologies and critical real-time systems that drive the platform.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing your engineering team and contributing to the design and implementation of high-performance trading environments with real-time integrations. A strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and excellent debugging skills are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy high-performance trading systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical components
  • Designing and implementing real-time integrations with leading banks and financial institutions
  • Managing code quality and ensuring adherence to industry standards

Required Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in C++ development
  • At least 3 years of technical management or lead experience
  • Good debugging skills
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience contributing to employee performance review processes
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
