Electrical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our proactive and solutions-focused team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical and mechanical plant and associated equipment within the district to provide an effective, efficient, and compliant service.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician or dual mechanical fitter with experience in commercial or industrial industries to make a real difference in supporting our Far West community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical plant and associated equipment to regulatory requirements within the district
  • Manage, design, and purchase equipment required to ensure the completion of tasks or projects undertaken
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade-qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanic with successful post-trade experience in the commercial and/or industrial sector
  • Demonstrated capacity to work unsupervised and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of computer maintenance management software systems with experience in using spreadsheets, word processing, email, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess or willing to undertake training to possess Arctick Restricted Split System Installation & Decommissioning Licence
  • Commitment to undertake additional training in either Certificate II or III dependent on current qualifications
  • Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and/or commitment to obtain MR licence within 6 months
