At Toll Group, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workplace Relations Consultant to join our HR team and ensure the effective management of ER processes.

This is a maternity leave fixed term contract role to April 2026 based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, addressing and resolving employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in accordance with company policies and Australian labour laws.
  • Developing, implementing, and updating HR guidelines aligned with company policies and procedures, reflecting legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Supporting HR in the implementation of performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance improvement plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of ER cases, preparing regular reports for management on ER/IR trends, risks, and outcomes.

To be successful as a Workplace Relations Consultant, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an ER role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, industrial relations, and Fair Work regulations.

The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
