About the Role

Karlka Recruiting Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing data products and services to support business outcomes and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain databases, ETL pipelines, and management systems.
  • Provide end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of innovative data management systems.
  • Contribute to ongoing management of data management systems and solutions.
  • Evaluate process improvements to deliver automation, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and innovations.
  • Monitor systems, identify risk, and emerging issues, and recommend solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in RDBMS products such as Oracle or AWS.
  • Experience in API frameworks (SQL, Python).
  • Understanding of data orchestration frameworks such as AirFlow.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing technologies.
  • Tertiary qualified professional in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
