Medical Billing Officer

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the healthcare industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Billing Officer to join our team at The Aushealth Hospital Research Fund Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and compile medical billing accounts for our clients, including inpatient, outpatient, and other billing as required.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including patients, Medicare, and health funds.
  • Assist in responding to patient enquiries via email and phone.
  • Maintain patient and client confidentiality.
  • Field patient billing enquiries and provide resolution.
  • Assist with patient refunds.

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of medical billing and invoicing.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and objection handling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
