Our client is a reputable manufacturer with a strong presence in the mining, logistics, infrastructure, and agriculture sectors. They utilize leading-edge systems and technology to deliver innovative solutions.
Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour, plus 17.5% weekly tool allowance. This role offers Monday to Friday hours with opportunities for overtime and career development/training.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated machinery, including CNC-operated machines, to manufacture high-quality products.
- Utilize engineering measurement tools, such as micrometres and dial indicators, to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safe work practices and using hand tools and general workshop equipment effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other internal staff to achieve quality outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Fitting and Machining or equivalent (desirable).
- Forklift licence.
- Experience working with automated machinery and engineering measurement tools.
- Safe and accurate use of hand tools and general workshop equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and show initiative to achieve quality outcomes.
