Senior Postdoctoral Immunologist Position

The Opportunity:
- This is an opportunity for driven postdoctoral researchers to join the Tumour Inflammation and Immunotherapy Program, focusing on the role of the immune system in cancer.
We are a medical research institute located in South Australia, specializing in cancer research linked to clinical trials, including cutting-edge technologies in immunotherapies and genomics.
We employ biomaterials and nanotechnology-based approaches to modulate the immune system and develop translational immunotherapy strategies in cancer.
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Laboratory experience in molecular and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, and DNA/RNA/protein analyses.
- Proven ability to work with complex model systems in vitro and in vivo.
- Evidence of research contributions such as publications, conference presentations, reports, or technical contributions.
- Ability to advise, support, and supervise Higher Degree by Research students.
- Experience in collaborating locally and nationally to enhance research outcomes.
- Ability to quickly learn new techniques and creatively solve experimental challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of basic statistics.
