Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail merchandising professional to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing short- and mid-term growth strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders, and managing accurate forecasting within deadlines and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cross-divisional retail product assortment strategies
  • Manage in-season product performance and OTB budget vs actual performance by channel and division
  • Work closely with stakeholders to maximize stock on hand and goods in transit
  • Consolidate consumer insights for regional stakeholders
  • Inspire, motivate, and educate the Regional and Global Merchandising organization

Requirements:

  • Experience in sports/lifestyle business in retail or merchandising function
  • Excellent understanding of the competitive environment and future trends in the industry
  • Strong process management, influencing, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Customer knowledge and consumer relevance
