Job Summary

We are seeking to add an experienced Field Service professional with HVAC/Thermal expertise to our high performing team.

This role is for a Field Supervisor - Thermal at Vertiv, requiring assistance with quotes, time and materials installations, and start-ups.

Responsibilities include supporting and mentoring field personnel in the execution of their normal activities, preparing and providing reports as requested by management, ensuring timesheets are entered correctly, and providing input into training needs of the team.

The successful candidate will assist supervisors to coordinate and schedule general duties, respond to customer requests, and assist with complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist stakeholders with providing quotes for small works, T&M installations, and start-ups.
  • Support and mentor field personnel in the execution of their normal activities.
  • Prepare and provide reports as requested by management.
  • Ensure timesheets are entered in the system correctly.
  • Provide input into training needs of the team.
  • Assist supervisors to coordinate and schedule general duties.
  • Respond to customer requests within a timely manner.
  • Assist supervisors and Customer Engineers with complex technical problems.
  • Be part of the after-hours call-out roster where possible.
  • Carry out quality audits as required by company policy.
Requirements
  • Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • Technical knowledge in data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries.
  • Proven track record in the Air Conditioning or other precision cooling industry as a service technician.
  • Thermal controls & Networking knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
