Job Title: Butcher/Meat Processor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher/Meat Processor to join our team at Global Skilled Employment Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce high-quality fresh meat products in accordance with company guidelines and timeframes.
  • Operate processing equipment to manufacture butchery products, including cutting and portioning meats, pumping brine, and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train and supervise staff to maintain a high level of quality and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in meat processing and production.
  • Knowledge of cutting and portioning meats, pumping brine, and operating processing equipment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
