Occupational Health and Safety Expert

About the Role
We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Expert to contribute to the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance project in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to drive 'best for project' outcomes by implementing our comprehensive Health & Safety Management Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively address HSE concerns through engagement with task performers.
- Supervise and mentor accident investigations up to Potential Class 1.
- Conduct risk assessment workshops to ensure compliance.
- Maintain high HSE standards by providing education and support.
- Regularly review and monitor HSE governance practices.
- Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Deliver toolbox talks and inductions.
About You
- Certificate IV in OHS or working towards it, preferably with tier 1 experience.
- Strong reports and systems knowledge with proficiency in utilising technology.
- ICAM, RRTWC, RIW certifications are advantageous.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issue/action closeout.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
