The RoleAs a valued member of our team, you will be a conscientious, flexible, and innovative educator committed to the holistic development of every student. You will actively engage in the school and the wider community, implement High Impact Teaching practices, and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based decision-making and differentiation.
The successful applicant should be a highly skilled and motivated educator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ideally, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to Explicit Direct Instruction and have expertise in collaboratively planning curriculum, including scope, sequencing, and lesson design. You should exhibit strong teaching and classroom management abilities, underpinned by effective classroom management strategies. Proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based planning to enhance literacy and numeracy outcomes is highly regarded.
We seek motivated applicants with a passion for teaching Generalist subjects at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. In this role, you will deliver a curriculum tailored to diverse student needs, fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential. Strong behaviour support capabilities and a commitment to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed, culturally aware practices are vital.
