Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deli Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deli department, including managing inventory, ordering and replenishing displays, product preparation, rostering, team training and development, KPI adherence, and business development.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the deli department, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing inventory and merchandise.
  • Excellent understanding of wage budgets and rostering acumen.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
