The ChallengeWe seek an intermediate or senior firmware engineer to lead embedded system development for cutting-edge IoT and smart tech products.
You will design and implement firmware platforms, collaborate with electronics and cloud teams, and ensure robust, scalable solutions.
Your role includes writing and testing firmware, managing upgrades, and driving quality through code reviews and automated testing.
You will take ownership of your work and contribute to team-wide improvements, while staying current with industry trends and continuously developing your skills.
This is a fixed term role based at our Surrey Hills office.
The Ideal CandidateTo succeed in this role, you will need a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving real-world challenges through embedded systems.
We are looking for someone who combines deep engineering expertise with a proactive, growth-oriented attitude - someone who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and contributes meaningfully to both product development and team culture.
Bonus: Experience in IoT/ag-tech product development and in-field testing a plus.
