Transport Portfolio Development Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of transportation infrastructure in New South Wales. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transport in our state.

The Greater Sydney Investment and Portfolio team are responsible for developing the Greater Sydney planning and delivery pipeline through provision of an efficient and effective interface between asset strategy, planning, development and delivery functions.

The successful candidate will lead the development of the Greater Sydney Asset and Services Plan (ASP), which outlines the cost, risk and performance of the division's assets and services over a 10-year view in the delivery of the Greater Sydney transport outcomes.

This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate strategic, technical and financial inputs from internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Greater Sydney Asset and Services Plan (ASP)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and incorporate strategic, technical and financial inputs
  • Provide oversight on the quality and consistency of information
  • Identify key risks and challenges at a divisional level
  • Interpret financial project and asset data to inform evidence-based asset management decisions

Requirements:

  • Degree in transport management, engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of transport industry and asset management principles
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
