Mental Health Services Director Regional WA

This Mental Health Services Director role provides an opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering youth-friendly mental health services in Regional WA. As a key leader at a mental health clinic, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, management, and supervision to ensure effective service delivery.

Collaborating with the Centre Manager, you will develop strategies that meet the needs of young people and their families. You will oversee daily operations, identify service gaps, and support growth to achieve full headspace site status.

A strong understanding of community mental health is essential, as you will build and strengthen networks with internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal Elders and Consortium partners. The ability to manage intake services for young people, community members, and professionals is also crucial.

In addition, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the team in delivering mental health care. Conducting psycho-social assessments using tools to determine service suitability is also a key responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or mental health nursing, along with current registration with AHPRA or full membership with AASW. Advanced knowledge and experience working with individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including suicide risk and self-harm, are necessary.
