RUC Mining Contractors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced LV Fitter to join our Kalgoorlie Workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment faults, ensuring equipment complies with safety and operating requirements, and participating in toolbox and safety meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Identify and resolve equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Participation in Safety Meetings: Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
- Service and Repair: Service, diagnose, and repair light vehicles and associated equipment.
- Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance: Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and JHAs (Job Hazard Analysis) and SWPs (Safe Work Procedures) where necessary for specific work areas.
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
- National Police Clearance (issued within 6 months)
- Automotive Air Conditioning Licence (highly desirable)
- Extensive experience with Toyota light vehicles
- Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills
- Residentially based in Kalgoorlie, WA and surrounds or willing to relocate
- Right to live and work in Australia
