This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where they can utilise their skills and experience to deliver high-quality care to our residents. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care, supporting residents with their daily living needs, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents in maintaining or restoring their independence by assisting with activities of interest and mobility aids as needed
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, reporting relevant information to Nursing and Management as required
  • Maintain effective workplace communication, demonstrating respect, empathy, and kindness
  • Assist with medication administration in accordance with facility policies

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable)
  • Experience working within an aged care setting as a carer
  • Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
