Job Summary

We're seeking a talented and experienced technical sales professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing direct sales to customers across assigned territories, uncovering potential projects, and providing market solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationships
    • Maintain and foster close relationships with customers and key accounts, acting as a Tomra ambassador
    • Follow up on customer questions and support issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Sales Pipeline
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Business Growth
    • Drive growth in profitability, revenue, and market share through strategic sales initiatives
  • Trade Shows and Events
    • Represent Tomra at trade shows and company events, showcasing our products and services
  • Record Keeping
    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of salesforce records

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience in selling capital equipment and long project sales cycles
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
