Job Title: Motion Storyteller

Job Description:

As a skilled Video Editor, you will bring raw footage to life by crafting engaging stories that meet our clients' vision and objectives.

Working closely with producers under the guidance of our Production Manager, your primary responsibilities include editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and incorporating motion graphics into high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and post-produce video content, including colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics, under producer direction.
  • Incorporate a wide range of creative assets, such as music, sound effects, and visual elements, to enhance the storytelling experience.
  • Develop fresh ideas to keep edits engaging and aligned with our clients' goals.
  • Apply feedback from producers and other team members to improve individual and group performance.
  • Manage project timelines effectively and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
  • Seek continuous feedback and opportunities for growth and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software, such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Sound mixing and color grading skills in Premiere, with DaVinci Resolve experience being an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
  • A keen eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail in all aspects of video production.
  • The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and think creatively to resolve problems.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
