As a CCL Apprentice, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop your construction skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. This apprenticeship program is designed to equip you with a solid foundation in safety and productivity, enabling you to excel in various industry sectors.

During this hands-on training, you will learn essential skills such as Construction Site Safety Orientation, Introduction to Construction Math, Hand Tools, Power Tools, and Basic Rigging and Material Handling. You will also acquire Basic Communication and Employability Skills, Confined Space Awareness, Fall Protection, and First Aid/CPR/AED.

Upon completing the core skills, you will progress to advanced industry knowledge in areas like Industrial, Wind, and Solar Construction.

• Display enthusiasm to learn and grow professionally.
• Develop a strong work ethic by attending formal training and on-the-job training sessions.
• Complete all homework assignments to build your knowledge and skillset.
• Keep a log of your on-the-job training activities.
• Participate in tests, presentations, and evaluations as required.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Observe and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Promote and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attend training sessions to enhance your understanding of new tools, equipment, and work procedures.
• Perform general tasks involving physical labor.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris.
• Adhere to set standards, follow rules, and comply with legal regulations.
• Perform tasks and duties as directed by your supervisor or mentor.

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have completed 0 to 4,000 hours of on-the-job training.
• Have experience using basic power tools (preferable).

In addition to these qualifications, you should possess:

• Able to take care of your own and others' health and safety.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home base area.
• Ability to perform tasks as directed by your supervisor or mentor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
