Casual Library Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Library Clerk. As a key member of our Library Service, you will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily library operations, and contribute to the delivery of programs and services.

About the Role

This is a casual opportunity, working on a flexible roster that may include weekend and evening shifts. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing assistance with library operations, answering customer inquiries, and supporting the delivery of programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Assist with daily library operations, including shelving, processing, and maintaining library collections
  • Support the delivery of programs and services, including children's programs and events
  • Work collaboratively with library staff to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a library or similar environment
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekend and evening shifts
  • Current National Police clearance and Working with Children Check
