State-Wide Capital Procurement Specialist

As a key team member, you will play a pivotal role in managing state-wide capital investments. Your responsibilities include product specification, contracting, and purchasing high-value goods and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with project directors, consultants, and stakeholders to coordinate construction components.
  • Liaise and negotiate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure project requirements meet organisational objectives.
  • Develop procurement strategies that deliver long-term value and benefits.
  • Minimise risk and maximise value through compliant procurement practices.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive better outcomes.
  • Maintain internal and external stakeholder networks.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience building stakeholder relationships is essential.
  • Leading complex negotiations and ensuring contract compliance are critical skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • A qualification in supply chain or a related field is desirable.
  • Healthcare procurement experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites in South East Queensland is preferred.
