About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking a skilled Primary Teacher to join our Casual Teacher pool, with opportunities for both half-day and full-day engagements.

The College adopts a student-centered approach to learning, focusing on small groups and specialized literacy and numeracy instruction. Teaching for Understanding and Project Based Learning are essential frameworks for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the College's teaching and learning frameworks.
  • Engage with and foster deep learning using tools such as Project Based Learning.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers and staff to provide a comprehensive education.

Requirements
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
  • Demonstrate a passion for child-centered learning and proven ability to engage students.
  • Understand the syllabus and assessment strategies.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Experience with Phonics, Spelling Mastery, and Number Sense or similar programs.
  • Willingness to engage with the College's pedagogical initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
