Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Design and Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical designs, bills of materials, and client proposals for converged network environments.
  • Technical Advice and Expertise: Provide high-level technical advice and expertise to support the design and implementation of converged network environments.

  • Complex Solution Design: Design complex business solutions that integrate all data, voice, video communications, and systems components into an effective network.
  • Managed Services Design: Provide technical and infrastructure design for managed services solutions, including cost and risk assessment.
  • Sales Engagement: Be highly proactive with sales engagement for the development of best value for money and best of breed solutions.
  • Cross-Sell and Up-Sell Opportunities: Proactively identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Customer Presentations: Perform customer-focused enterprise technology presentations from 'technical' to CIO level.
  • Consultative Approach: Embed a consultative approach within Sales and Delivery.
Requirements
  • Senior IT/Executive Level Experience: At least 3 years of pre-sales/embedded architect experience at senior IT/executive level.
  • Technical Design Experience: Experience in developing detailed customer technical designs, bills of materials, and client proposals.
  • Technical Advice and Expertise: Experience in providing high-level technical advice and expertise to support the design and implementation of converged network environments.
  • Managed Solutions Environment: Experience in a managed solutions environment, including maintaining large corporate networks.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in managing diverse technical solutions and detailed understanding of one or more of the following technology areas: Data Networks, Security, Server and Storage technologies, Network toolsets, and reporting platforms.
  • Leadership and Support: Experience in providing support or leadership (from an architectural perspective) to operational support teams for problem resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to question current processes and status quo and devise improvements.
