Experienced Litigator Sought for Thriving Commercial Law Firm

A leading commercial law firm is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Lawyer to join their dynamic team in Sydney. As a key member of the litigation department, you will have the opportunity to take on challenging and varied cases, working closely with the Litigation Director.

About the Role

This is an excellent chance to join a prestigious law firm with a strong reputation for success. You will be responsible for managing your own clients and files, resolving construction disputes through:

  • Adjudication Applications under the Security of Payment laws,
  • Enforcing statutory rights to payment of Payment Claims,
  • Breach of Contract claims,
  • Defective workmanship and breach of statutory warranties,
  • Delay and liquidated damages claims,
  • Disputes in relation to Residential Building Contracts, and
  • Recovery of unpaid Progress Claims and Retention Sums.
